SUMMARY:Le "recyclage" du passé simple au 21e siècle
DESCRIPTION:Conférence de Emmanuelle LABEAU\, Aston University \nPassé universel en ancien français\, le passé simple (PS) a vu son domaine se réduire progressivement au cours de l’histoire de la langue\, conduisant de nombreux linguistes à annoncer sa disparition (i.a. Van Vliet 1983\, Waugh 1991). Cependant\, nous avons récemment montré (Labeau 2022) que le PS s’emploie toujours en français contemporain même si ses fonctions ont changé. Nous illustrerons cette évolution au travers d’un corpus diachronique de comptes rendus sportifs et fournirons des exemples supplémentaires du « recyclage » du PS dans la publicité et le roman sérialisé en ligne (blogs novels). \nRéférences \n\nLabeau\, E.
