Genre and context : How to encourage pupils to read and how to improve reading skills ?

Résumé
Text and discourse analysis is used in education both in order to train critical literacy and develop own writing and understanding of contexts and genres. Systemic-functional linguistics is one of the theoretical frameworks but there are other text-based frameworks, too.
I will take some theoretical aspects that are applied in school and will analyze some of the text-books that are used.
